With all materials and equipment provided, these friendly, hands-on sessions offer the chance to learn something new or develop an existing skill at your own pace.
Each session focuses on a particular traditional technique, with guidance and support to help you build confidence, explore heritage skills, and create something to take home.
To enable dedicated tuition, session numbers are capped. Each session will have it's own cap number.

Introduction to Rigid Heddle Band Weaving
Maximum 10 people
*Includes a heddle and shuttle to take home.

- A narrow, patterned woven band with all sorts of uses.

- How to read basic heddle patterns
- How to thread a rigid heddle and shuttle
- Basic weaving techniques for creating a patterned band
